As a Community of Hope member, you can choose a giving level that works for you:
$18.96 a month provides continuous nourishment to a Veteran struggling with mental health or addiction.
$25 a month provides a senior or adult with a disability with monthly assisted trips to the grocery store.
$100 a month provides opportunities, experiences, and necessary supplies for children in our youth programs.
$125 a month provides a Veteran ongoing legal services and participation in job readiness programs.

Meet Jack
Jack has been a dedicated member of VOA Illinois’ Community of Hope since 2021! When asked why Jack continues to support us, he said
“I believe in VOA Illinois’ mission to help underserved and critically at-need people in communities across the Chicagoland area. Especially in challenging and uncertain times, too many segments of the population are being overlooked, and every dollar is meaningful.”

Why $18.96?
Our monthly giving program is in honor of VOA Illinois’ 125th anniversary. Volunteers of America was founded by social reformers in 1896. They envisioned a movement dedicated to “reaching and uplifting” the American people. On behalf of the organization, our founders pledged to “go wherever we are needed, and do whatever comes to hand.” The Community of Hope lays the foundation for us to continue to guide our outreach efforts today.
