HELP MAKE OUR HOLIDAY WISHES A SUCCESS!
Each year VOA Illinois hosts Holiday Wishes, our annual drive that provides gifts, toys, and joy to the Veteran families we serve, children and families experiencing homelessness, and children in our youth programs.

Ways to Get Involved!
Children’s Gifts
Make a child’s holiday wishes come true by purchasing gifts for the youth we serve! Choose to shop for one child, or buy gifts for multiple! If you are interested in this option, please email Sarah at skowal@voail.org to ensure that you receive a wish list!
Adult Gift Baskets
We provide gifts to the adults we serve in the form of Gift Baskets! This is a great way to spread joy to Veterans or individuals struggling or in crisis. See the list here of ideas for what to include in your basket and help us expand the magic of the holiday season.
Scholar Gift Basket
NEW THIS YEAR: VOA Illinois is proud to partner with a Chicago high school to provide services to scholars. Help us support these students by creating gift baskets filled with their favorite goodies to make their holiday season magical! See the list here of ideas for what to include.
Holiday Party Sponsorship
We host holiday parties at our properties each year, to distribute gifts and celebrate with holiday cheer. If you are interested in sponsoring a holiday party, see more information here.
Volunteer
Are you looking to volunteer with us during this magical season? We will have multiple opportunities for you to join us at the office and help us organize and wrap gifts! For more information, send Sarah an email at skowal@voail.org
Donate
If you have already had your fill of gift shopping or are looking to get involved in other ways that won’t require braving the cold, no problem!
