Auxiliary Board members are young professionals in Chicago who are looking to meet new people while making a difference in their community. They have shared ideas about ways to fund raise and have connections with corporations or foundations that would be interested in supporting Volunteers of America of Illinois. Auxiliary Board members are also very passionate about the work that Volunteers of America of Illinois does and are committed to advancing the mission.

Meet the Auxiliary Board Executive Members

  • Nik Ellickson

    Auxiliary Board Member

    Nik Ellickson is a Territory Sales Manager covering the State of Illinois for Illinois Tool Works (ITW). Prior to working with ITW, Nik was an associate with KPMG in Audit and an Analyst for Keating Capital both based in Denver, Colorado. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Denver with a degree in Accounting. Nik grew up playing hockey and enjoys outdoor activities.

  • Tommy Miller

    Auxiliary Board Member

    Tommy was born and raised just north of Chicago in Winnetka, IL. He attended The North Shore Country Day School followed by the University of Denver where he received both his BSBA in finance and his MBA with a concentration in finance. Out of school he worked at William Blair, in their Investment Banking Group specializing in Industrials M&A advisory. Tommy currently lives in the Gold Coast of Chicago.

    Maggie Radelet, Marketing/Communications at Boston College graduate, Springsteen fan and Chicago resident. Passionate about empowering the undeserved.

  • Roshni Shikari

    Auxiliary Board Member

    Roshni Shikari is a staff attorney at the ACLU of Illinois. Prior to joining the ACLU, Ms. Shikari worked for a civil rights litigation firm focusing on disability rights and special education in St. Louis, Missouri. She has also represented children and parents in abuse and neglect proceedings as a student attorney and has worked with indigent persons on housing and benefits issues as a paralegal caseworker for a legal aid organization. She graduated cum laude from Middlebury College and magna cum laude from Washington University School of Law.

  • Luis Zepeda

    Auxiliary Board Member

    After attending Boston College, Luis Zepeda, returned to Chicago to pursue his passion in politics and worked on various high profiled campaigns. Mr. Zepeda was appointed as the youngest ward superintendent in the City of Chicago and currently remains in that position, serving the residents of the 2nd ward (where the main office of Volunteers of America of Illinois is located). His father served in the Vietnam War, which has provided him with a unique perspective of what many of our Veterans undergo after they have served.

  • Joshua Allan Miller, Veteran

    Auxiliary Board Member

    Joshua is in service and support at PCM, Inc., responsible for managing pipelines, order processes and procedures, and assisting in the overall sales performance of six Senior Account Managers across the country. He graduated from West Point in 2010 where he was co-captain of the Men’s basketball team. After graduating from the Academy, he was commissioned as an Officer and stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri as an Operations Officer. Outside of work he is passionate about supporting Veteran’s causes and closing the opportunity gap between under-served youths and economic opportunities.

  • Sarah Longley

    Auxiliary Board Member

    Sarah Longley is a Sales Manager with She has been with CareerBuilder for over 10 years, currently managing a sales group that focuses on strategic partnerships with healthcare clients. Ms. Longley sits on the Chicago Wellesley Club Board of Directors and participates in other community service projects within the Chicago area. She is a Wellesley College graduate.

  • Kaleb Hupp, Veteran

    Auxiliary Board Member

    Kaleb is an Associate Consultant at ZS Associates, a global management consultancy. Prior to joining ZS, Kaleb served 5 years as an Infantry Officer in the Army and was stationed at both Fort Benning, Georgia and Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He recently left the service as a Captain after completing two combat tours in Afghanistan. Kaleb holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa, enjoys Hawkeye football, and is an avid outdoors-man.

  • Jon Schultz

    Auxiliary Board Member

    Jon is an integrated strategist for Havas Worldwide, an advertising agency in downtown Chicago, where he plans campaigns and creative executions for brands. He went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for bachelor's degree in advertising. Outside of work, Jon travels the country with a film camera, plays basketball, and volunteers in the city.
