Bring Non Perishables!
The individuals and families we serve that are struggling with homelessness often have empty cupboards when they arrive at their new housing. Help us fill those cupboards by bringing your non-perishable food items to Hope Walk!
Bring spare change!
Have spare change around your house? We can make good use of that! Bring your coins to Hope Walk for our coin collection All the proceeds will go towards programming for the individuals and families we serve.
JOINS US FOR OUR ANNUAL SOLIDARITY WALK TO RAISE AWARENESS AND FUNDS FOR THE PEOPLE WE SERVE INCLUDING Veterans, children, families, elderly, and adults with disabilities
In 2014 the 5k Wrigley run that benefited local nonprofits was canceled, so we decided to host our own walk! (Lucky for you ours is now a 1.25 walk and not a 5k) The walk started as a way to benefit our Veteran programming, but as our reach and services expanded so did Hope Walk! We now serve over 2,000 clients and the Hope Walk helps raise awareness and benefit the individuals and families we serve. VOA Illinois offers comprehensive programs for individuals and families who are struggling, in crisis, or at risk of serious instability in their lives.
By participating in Hope Walk, you help support our programs that provide:
- Stable housing
- Case Management
- Life Skills
- Therapeutic Services
