Operation Make Moms Proud

Action Team captains from Jones College Prep teamed up with the captains at Urban Prep Academy to beautify and clean up the neighborhood. Joined by White Sox third baseman Mark Teahen, the students spent the day pulling weeds, picking up trash and recyclables, planting flowers and laying mulch.

Students celebrated with a live DJ and hot dogs donated by Vienna Beef. The captains were also invited by the MLB Players Trust to attend the White Sox game that night.
