Back to School Fair

The Back to School Fair was held on Saturday, July 30th from 10am-1pm at Morton School of Excellence to distribute the backpacks collected through Operation Backpack 2011.

Thanks to the help of Principal Turner, her staff and VOA of IL volunteers, nearly 300 students are ready to head back to school with a backpack full of supplies!

Students and families enjoyed the Back to School Fair with dental cleanings from Dr. Saltzman and his dental assistants, haircuts by Paul Mitchell the School, hot dogs donated by Vienna Beef, face painting by volunteer Jeff Carlson, games and prizes, Scholastic books and backpacks...everything FREE of charge!
